Daily Analytics Charts Guide
The Daily Analytics section provides seven specialized charts for analyzing options data on any given trading day. Each chart offers unique insights into market structure and sentiment.
Available Charts
1. Option Walls
Purpose: Identifies key support and resistance levels from options positioning
What It Shows:
- Intraday price chart with candlesticks
- Horizontal lines marking high open interest strikes
- Call walls (resistance) and put walls (support)
- Dynamic levels updated before market open
How to Use:
- Watch for price reactions at wall levels
- Strong walls often act as price magnets
- Breaking through walls may signal directional moves
2. Gamma Exposure
Purpose: Shows market maker hedging pressure at different strikes
What It Shows:
- Bar chart of gamma exposure by strike
- Positive bars (calls) above zero line
- Negative bars (puts) below zero line
- Current stock price marked
Key Insights:
- High gamma strikes act as price magnets
- Positive total GEX suggests lower volatility
- Negative total GEX suggests higher volatility
3. Delta Exposure
Purpose: Displays directional exposure across strikes
What It Shows:
- Delta distribution by strike price
- Call delta (positive) and put delta (negative)
- Net delta exposure across chain
- Current price reference line
Trading Applications:
- Identifies directional bias
- Shows hedging flow potential
- Reveals positioning imbalances
4. Premium Distribution
Purpose: Shows where money is positioned in the options chain
What It Shows:
- Dollar value of options by strike
- Notional open interest (strike × OI × 100)
- Call vs put premium distribution
- Concentration of capital
Analysis Points:
- Large premium indicates conviction
- Asymmetric distribution signals bias
- Premium walls as key levels
5. Volume Distribution
Purpose: Displays daily trading activity by strike
What It Shows:
- Options volume by strike price
- Call volume (green) vs put volume (red)
- Most active strikes highlighted
- Volume/OI ratio indicators
Insights Provided:
- Identifies hot strikes
- Shows intraday interest shifts
- Reveals new positioning
6. Volatility Skew
Purpose: Analyzes implied volatility across strikes
What It Shows:
- IV by strike for calls and puts
- Volatility smile/smirk patterns
- ATM volatility reference
- Skew steepness and direction
Key Features:
- DTE selector for different expirations
- Separate call and put IV curves
- Current price marker
- Historical skew comparison

7. Term Structure
Purpose: Shows implied volatility across expiration dates
What It Shows:
- IV by expiration date
- Forward volatility curve
- Contango/backwardation patterns
- Event volatility (earnings, etc.)
Analysis Uses:

- Calendar spread opportunities
- Volatility regime changes
- Mean reversion targets
Interactive Filters
Most charts include adjustable filters:
DTE (Days to Expiration) Range
- Focus on near-term or long-term options
- Default: All expirations
- Adjustable via slider
Delta Range
- Filter by moneyness using delta
- 0.0-0.3: Out-of-the-money
- 0.3-0.7: At-the-money
- 0.7-1.0: In-the-money
Moneyness Range
- Filter by percentage from current price
- Negative: Out-of-the-money
- Zero: At-the-money
- Positive: In-the-money
