Manage your Optionomics subscription and billing
Two billing surfaces
Your subscription can be billed through one of two channels, depending on where you originally subscribed:

The web account and the iOS app share the same Optionomics account—the platform reflects whichever subscription is active for you.
Web billing portal
You can conveniently manage all aspects of your Optionomics web subscription—including upgrading or downgrading your plan, updating your payment methods, viewing invoices, and canceling or resuming your subscription—through our secure billing portal.
To access these features, simply log into your Optionomics account, navigate to your Subscription settings, and click the “Open Billing Portal” button. All billing changes and sensitive payment data are securely handled by our payment provider.
Upgrading Your Plan
To upgrade your subscription:
- Click “Open Billing Portal” on subscription page
- Select “Update subscription” in Billing Portal
- Choose desired plan
- Click continue
- Changes take effect immediately with prorated billing
Upgrade Benefits:
- Immediate access to new features
- No service interruption
- Billing adjusted automatically
Downgrading Your Plan
To reduce your subscription:
- Click “Open Billing Portal” on subscription page
- Select “Update subscription” in Billing Portal
- Choose lower tier plan
- Click continue
- Changes effective at next billing cycle
Downgrade Notes:
- Maintains current access until cycle ends
- No partial refunds for current period
- API and MCP Server access removed if downgrading from Vega
Canceling Subscription
To cancel your subscription:
- Click “Open Billing Portal” on subscription page
- Select “Cancel subscription” in Billing Portal
- Confirm cancellation
After Cancellation:
- Access until current period expires
- Data remains for 90 days
- Can reactivate anytime
- No cancellation fees
Apple In-App Purchase (iOS app)
If you subscribed inside the iOS app, your subscription is handled by Apple In-App Purchase—not the web billing portal. Standard Apple rules apply:
- Manage or cancel from iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, not by Optionomics.
- Restore purchases is available on the subscription screen if you change devices or reinstall.
- Your iOS subscription syncs back to your Optionomics account, so the web platform reflects the same plan automatically.
If you originally subscribed on the web, manage that subscription through the web billing portal—the iOS app will reflect your plan either way.
Heads-up on App Store pricing
Plans purchased through the Apple App Store are priced about 30% higher than the same plans on the web. This covers Apple’s standard In-App Purchase commission, which we have to include in the in-app price.
If you want the lowest price, subscribe on the web at optionomics.ai/subscription. The same account works on both web and the iOS app—you don’t need a separate App Store subscription to use the app.
