Subscription Management

Manage your Optionomics subscription, billing, and payment methods from your account dashboard.

Accessing Subscription Settings

  1. Log into your account
  2. Navigate to Account → Subscription
  3. View current plan and billing details

Current Subscription Status

Your subscription page displays:

  • Active Plan: Current plan name (Delta, Gamma, Theta, or Vega)
  • Billing Cycle: Monthly billing period
  • Payment Method: Card ending in **
  • Next Billing Date: Upcoming charge date

Managing Your Plan

Upgrading Your Plan

To access additional features:

  1. Click “Open Billing Portal” on subscription page
  2. Select “Update plan” in Billing Portal
  3. Choose desired plan
  4. Confirm upgrade
  5. Changes take effect immediately with prorated billing

Upgrade Benefits:

  • Immediate access to new features
  • No service interruption
  • Billing adjusted automatically

Downgrading Your Plan

To reduce your subscription:

  1. Click “Open Billing Portal” on subscription page
  2. Select “Update plan” in Billing Portal
  3. Choose lower tier plan
  4. Confirm downgrade
  5. Changes effective at next billing cycle

Downgrade Notes:

  • Maintains current access until cycle ends
  • No partial refunds for current period
  • API access removed if downgrading from Vega

Canceling Subscription

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Click “Open Billing Portal” on subscription page
  2. Select “Cancel plan” in Billing Portal
  3. Select cancellation reason (optional)
  4. Confirm cancellation

After Cancellation:

  • Access until current period expires
  • Data remains for 90 days
  • Can reactivate anytime
  • No cancellation fees

Payment Methods

Update Payment Method

  1. Click “Open Billing Portal” on subscription page
  2. Go to Payment Methods section in Billing Portal
  3. Click “Add Payment Method”
  4. Enter new card details
  5. Set as default (optional)
  6. Remove old payment method (optional)

Supported Payment Types

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Debit cards
  • Corporate cards

Payment Security

  • PCI compliant processing via Stripe
  • Card details never stored on our servers
  • Secure tokenization
  • 3D Secure authentication when required

Billing History

View all past transactions:

  • Invoice date and number
  • Amount charged
  • Payment method used
  • Download PDF receipts
  • Email receipts

Subscription Features by Plan

What You Have Access To

Your subscription page shows:

  • Enabled features
  • Locked features (require upgrade)
  • Feature comparison table
  • Upgrade prompts for locked features

Common Billing Issues

Failed Payments

If payment fails:

  1. Email notification sent immediately
  2. Automatic retry attempts over several days
  3. Update payment method in Billing Portal
  4. Service suspended if all retries fail
  5. Can reactivate by updating payment

Billing Disputes

For billing questions:

  • Review billing history
  • Download invoices
  • Contact support@optionomics.ai
  • Include invoice number

Subscription Policies

Refund Policy

  • Contact support@optionomics.ai for refund requests
  • Evaluated case-by-case basis
  • Billing errors and duplicates refunded
  • No automatic refunds for cancellations
  • Cancel subscription to stop future billing

Auto-Renewal

  • Subscriptions auto-renew monthly
  • Email notification sent when payment processed
  • Cancel anytime to stop future billing
  • No long-term commitments required

Price Changes

  • Advance notice provided for any price changes
  • Option to cancel before changes take effect
  • Contact support with questions about pricing
