Mobile App (iOS)

Optionomics on iPhone and iPad

What the iOS app includes

The Optionomics iOS app provides a native mobile workspace for monitoring the market, researching a symbol, reviewing ideas and commentary, and responding to alerts. On iPhone it uses a compact tab bar; on iPad it uses a layout better suited to the larger screen.

Availability: The app is a free download. Feature access follows the active subscription on your Optionomics account. Alerts and push workflows require Gamma or higher; AI Trade Ideas, Commentary, and the AI Assistant require Theta or Vega. Android remains in development; Android users can use the mobile web application and non-push alert channels.

You can sign in three ways:

  • Email and password — the same account you use on the web.
  • Sign in with Google.
  • Sign in with Apple (one-tap on iOS).

Subscription status syncs automatically from your account—if you bought on the web, the app recognizes it; if you subscribe inside the app, it uses Apple In-App Purchase and syncs back to your web account.

Tab What it does
Terminal Mobile chart plus Unusual Activity, Options Flow, Watchlist, Radar, Scanner, and News
Ideas The AI Trade Ideas feed and idea details
Live Live Market Commentary and related session updates
Stock Symbol research, including Heatmap, Overview, and News
Alerts Create, edit, activate, pause, and delete alerts
Overview Mobile market overview and broad activity context

The app also provides access to your notifications, account and subscription controls, feedback, and the AI Assistant from the appropriate menus.

Mobile Terminal

The mobile Terminal keeps a symbol header and chart above a switchable lower panel. The lower tabs are:

  • Unusual Activity and Options Flow, with filters and pause/resume controls
  • Watchlist for fast symbol changes
  • Radar for a compact structural options view
  • Scanner for preset-based discovery
  • News for symbol and market headlines

The mobile layout is optimized for one focused panel at a time. Use the web Terminal when you want several panels visible simultaneously.

Push notifications

Enable push when prompted (or in iOS Settings → Notifications → Optionomics) to receive your alerts on the phone in addition to any other channels you’ve enabled (email, SMS, Slack, Discord, webhook). Tapping a push opens the relevant detail view in the app.

If pushes aren’t arriving:

  • Check that the alert has Mobile Push enabled in its channel list on the web or in the app.
  • Check that Notifications are allowed for Optionomics in iOS Settings.
  • Sign out and back in to re-register your device.

Subscriptions inside the app

Subscriptions in the app use Apple In-App Purchase. Standard Apple rules apply:

  • Manage or cancel from iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple, not by Optionomics.
  • If you change devices or reinstall, use Restore purchases on the subscription screen.

App Store pricing

Apple displays the current In-App Purchase price and renewal terms before confirmation. App Store and web pricing can differ. You can subscribe on the web and then sign in to the iOS app with the same account; a separate App Store subscription is not required.

If you originally subscribed on the web, keep managing that subscription from the web subscription page—the app will reflect your status either way.

Feedback

You can send feedback directly from the app (Account → Feedback). It comes straight to the team and is the fastest way to report bugs or suggest improvements.

Important context

  • Options trading involves substantial risk—the app shows you data and AI summaries, not personalized investment advice.
  • Live data on mobile may briefly lag the desktop experience over flaky networks; pull-to-refresh forces an update.
  • The web app remains the best place for the full three-column Terminal, Historical Lab, Strategy Builder, and Backtesting.

Remember: Mobile and web use the same account and entitlements. Choose the layout that fits the task and your screen size.
