Insider and Political Trading
Research official disclosure filings in one workspace
What this workspace does
Insider & Political Trading organizes official disclosure filings into a consistent research interface. It helps you find relevant filings more quickly; it does not claim that a disclosed trade predicts future price movement.
Availability: Gamma plan and higher.
Open it: Choose Insider & Political Trading in the web sidebar, or open /disclosures.
Browse the disclosure views
The navigation separates the research into four views:
- Trades for the normalized transaction feed
- Politicians for person-centered political disclosure research
- Issuers for company-centered activity
- States for state-level political disclosure coverage
Coverage and reporting detail depend on the official source. Filing dates can lag the underlying transaction date.
Filter the trade feed
Available filters include:
- Company, ticker, or person
- Disclosure type
- Official source
- Political-report state where applicable
- Transaction type
- Filing period
- Estimated minimum value
- Sort order
Apply the filters to narrow the feed, then open a row for the reported details and source context.
Interpret disclosures carefully
- A filing reports a transaction under the source’s disclosure rules; it does not explain the person’s full portfolio or motivation.
- Political disclosures can use value ranges rather than exact transaction values.
- Filing and transaction dates are different. Always check both.
- Purchases, sales, grants, exercises, gifts, and other transaction types have different meanings.
- A single filing should be combined with company, market, and portfolio context.
Use this workspace as a research input and verify material details against the linked official source before relying on them.
